Everyone, so today I’m going to be talking about a film or essentially two films, because I’m going to be talking about night at the museum and the museum to Battle of the Smithsonian. I’m quite shocked. I haven’t talked about it yet because it is one of my favorite films, is probably one of my most favorite new films. And as far as Disney is in, that concern doesn’t count. But I just love this so much. So to recap, for those who may not be familiar with the plot, it’s all about Larry Daley of these devices, tabulator on and he becomes a museum guard. And I go to the museum and we talk to have a job. You know, I needed something to support. His son and son doesn’t actually live with them. But like, his mother was like, no, you don’t have to love your life, not stable. Why should you see the son? And then he gets the job and he becomes he has a bit more of a stable life to get the job. That’s the only reason he took it. He doesn’t really have any other sort of motive behind it. But then he really falls in love with this job because something happens. And in the first in the first episode, the tablet, the Volkmann, well, that’s in the museum, closes all the artifacts to come to life at night. So this entire massive museum comes to life, all the exhibits and everything. So you have monkeys walking around, big woolly mammoth, stampeding everywhere below cowboys and things.

And basically any historical creature you can think of comes to life, including a nice little monkey as well. So all these exhibits are coming to life and a museum. What he has to back with all these all these creatures and to try and get them back to the peace, basically. And that is the main plot in the first film. But the Smithsonian, by this point, Larry, is live in the museum and all the artifacts and all the exhibits are getting shipped off to the Smithsonian in Washington, I believe. But they’re not getting put on display straight away, looking to put underground out of the way. But the top of and camera has been taken with them. So they’re still going to come to life at night as well as everything else that’s in the Smithsonian. And Smithsonian is a million times bigger than the natural history. So like a lot of historical figures coming to life in Second World, Larry, have to go and save those figures and from the lesser kind people. And also upline lost brother as well. Amen, brother. And is in the Smithsonian. He wants the tablet back. So Larry had a lot on his case in both films. And if I have to choose between one or two, I think I prefer to because I like the fact. First of all, there’s a greater range of historical figures and characters.

And also I like the fact that you have your good, good creatures in your bad historical creatures light in the fact that loudhailer has friends with some of them. I definitely prefer the second, but I love them both. And so for me, it is a historical aspect that makes that, you know, mega because as you guys know or most people know, I’m a matter of history, not I love anything historical. And when this first came out, I was like, this is an entire film devoted to history. I was ecstatic. And so that for me is great. It is educational. You know, you do learn quite a lot as you go through it to little snippets of history, things and or part of it. I remember you don’t know what somebody looks like. You get to see them as well, because I will see a lot of the historical figures look like the historical figures are meant to be. You can tell who they are. That’s nice as well. The acting, the cast and cast at your central character loudhailer is played by Ben Stiller, who we will all know and most of us will love. I do. And I think he is fantastic. So to have Ben Stiller as your lead is brilliant and Dick Van Dyke is and I absolutely adore Dick Van Dyke and Paul Rudd. Paul Rudd, not central central character, but he is in the film and I really enjoy you guys know I love Paul Rudd completely.

So that is great. And also all Milson one plays little Jedidiah, and that is brilliant. The film directed by Sean. I think Larry, what a princess surname is like. If I could be wrong and fantastic. Fantastic. You directed the film and brilliantly written as well. The whole thing is just absolutely fantastic. As you can see, I haven’t shown you a DVD. I do not have the DVD. I have like a soft copy one which I don’t condone anyway. But I’m going to go by the box at both. And as soon as Christmas is out of the way and if there are any special features on there, I might talk about DVD itself. But just now there is my thoughts on the first two films. I hope they make a third. I don’t know if I got in and the first one came out 2006, the second in 2009. So if it were to be every three years, I mean 2012, back end 2011. So fingers crossed we’re going to get a third film, but if not more than content to be what the first two can feel really close and things. And let me your thoughts.
