Now, at the museum, three Secret of the Tomb is directed by Shawn Levy and stars Ben Stiller, Robin Williams, Dan Stevens, Ben Kingsley and a lot of the similar cast from the first two movies. And this time around, the tablet is dying and the powers are fading away. And Ben Stiller takes the tablet to London to find the secrets of the tablet to keep it going forever so he can keep his friends alive at the museum. I really like the first two, not museum movies. They’re kind of like guilty pleasures for me. Not all people like them, but I find enjoyment in both of them. I remember watching the first one a lot when it was first released and so I was excited to see the third one and also one of Robin Williams last films. And I got to say on the museum three is just like the first two. I found enjoyment in it. It’s not the best family film I’ve ever seen, but I still really liked it. The presence of the new characters from Sir Lancelot played by Dan Stevens and its interaction with Ben Stiller and Theodore Roosevelt and the Caveman and the monkey, it was all really funny. He was didn’t know that he was a museum character and made out of wax and stuff. So it was interesting to see, like his new interactions, because we haven’t got that from, like, the first film. So it’s fresh to see a new character involved that doesn’t know what exactly is going on.
I think Dan Stevens did a really great job here. He was funny. He starred in the guest earlier this year and I want to see him more in films is a really great guy. But Ben Stiller interacting more with the cavemen and Theodore Roosevelt, Attila the Hun. And I think they all worked well together. They were really fine together, especially the cavemen. They seem to be more along, Ben. So this time around and they making jokes that they look like each other and but they just worked well together. It was funny to see them interact in the monkey here are so cute. I got out of the theater and thought, I really want to buy a monkey someday. It’s so cute. But now at the Museum three, it takes it to a different place. In London, you get a new setting. Each movie has different museums, so different things you get to see. That’s what I like about these films. It just doesn’t focus on one museum. Each movie focuses on a different museum. So each time you get to see different setting, different characters, different people, different guards, this time around you see Rebel Wilson, who annoys me so much in the film. If I had to pick one thing out of the film that I just did not like as Rebel Wilson, I just more and more, I do not like her. She is annoying in this film and the way they set it up, if the movie ends, its setting up for someone else to take over the role.
And so hopefully it’s not Rebel Wilson because I would hate that. So the Museum three has a fun plot going for it of the tablet is running out and they have to go to London to figure out the secrets of it and they take back camera to see his family, to figure out the secrets of the tablet and before the time runs out and the other, some heartwarming moments in there towards the end with the monkey and Robin Williams, which I kind of got teary eyed because, you know, it’s one of his last scenes in movies and they made it feel special. So I like the ending towards that, but not to be him. Three, just fun, exciting movie that I liked. Not all people are going to like it, but I just enjoy it for what it is. It’s inventive and you get to see all these different historical characters or people made up like Sir Lancelot. And just so they take their own personalities and put it into modern world. So I like that. So that the museum three, I’m a go ahead and give a B minus. This is just one of those movies for a review of the museum three secret of the tomb. I hope everybody is enjoying their holidays and I’ll sell it by.
